Antique Ornate Bronze & Brass Picture Photo Frame with Ribbons, Wreaths and SwansMeasures 7-1/2\" tall x 5\" wide x 1/2\" deep. Has an Easel Leg for tabletop display and a small Ring on the back for wall hanging.
It will hold a 4\" x 6\" photo. Glass is handblown with ripples and bubbles common in glass of the period but does not badly distort the image behind it.
Made in France and sold in New York by Stern Bros it is in excellent condition. The Gold Gilding has worn off from years of age and someone had painted the front white at one point. Everything has been carefully cleaned off including deep in the difficult to clean crevices and is ready for it to be re-gilded or display as-is.
