Here is a beautiful antique oil lamp. I do not know much about oil lamps, but we acquired a large collection from an estate so I will describe as best as I can. The burner is in very good condition. The knob turns and raises and lowers the wick. The knob is marked P & A Mfg. Waterbury Conn. The collar appears to be brass with a patina. The oil font has a pressed glass design. The bottom is a teal glass with hand painted flowers and it sits on a cast iron base. It measures 13\" tall. The oil font is approx 6\" in diameter. The base is 4 3/4\" x 4 3/4\". I believe the chimney is a replacement. The base of the chimney does have some roughness and little chips, but not visible when on the lamp. I do not see any chips or damage to the glass and all parts look to be in great condition with the exception of some patina on the burner. Please see pictures for details. The shipping may be a little high because of the size of the box. We can get the shipping down if you do not want the chimney, The box would be much smaller.
