Pair of Exceptional French c.1850 Jacob Petit Style Old Paris Porcelain VasesTable Lamps

Beautiful pair ofOld Paris porcelain Two-Handledvases, converted into two-light table lamps.

Rococo stylePorcelain vases in abeautifulpurple, apple green, and dustypinkwith a hand painted panels front and back. One panel depictsa couple, the reverse is a gloriousbouquet of summer flowers,polychromed.

The vases are heavily gilded throughout,embellished with elaborateraised and flat gold decorationand have ornatescrolltwin handles.The handles have a curled shape.The vases are set on a green ground square base, also decorated withglorious spray of flowers on both sides-- each base has four curled feet.

These are large and impressive items that dates to approximately1850 and was probably made by Jacob Petit.

No J. P. letters are found on the bottom.

Each lamp has an adjustable brass neck to accommodate differentshade sizes

20\" (51 cm) inches tall (just porcelain part)

13\" (33 cm) wide at the widest part of the vases, from handle to handle.
