These four miniature platters (of which 3 are round and graduated in size and 1 is oval) were displayed with my collection of children's dishes. They are quite old and are detailed with bands that circumvent the edges just like the adult versions. I inherited them and must guess that they are at least 80 plus years, probably closer to 100. I chose to display them tarnished but they could easily have the years erased with a good polishing. The largest round plate is 4 and 3/4 inches marked made in Germany with remnants of a shield mark. The second largest round plate is 3 and 3/4 inches and has a shield mark and E S stamped on the back. The smallest round and oval platter have a very worn stamped circular mark. They are 2 1/2 inches and 4 1/4 respectively.
