Appears to be a transfer onto a hard material which was then hand painted
paint accents theshoulders and chestribbon(which appears to be an Prussian Order of the RedEagle Star)
Held in a chased brass ovalframe(no glass)
Frame Measures approx. 2-3/4" x 3-1/2"

Condition:

Good overall condition considering age, rarity and fragility. There is some discoloration along the outer rim of the image, along with some moderate scratching and a hairline crack that runs from bottom center up towards the left shoulder (see photos). The small brass frame shows some patina and mild scratching.
