This is a lovely bowl. It is one of two pieces that match. I don't know the manufacturer because I do not speak Japanese and I cannot make out the signature or the imprinted logo.

Maybe you are better at identifying Japanese antiques and vintage pieces than I am. I believe this is very old!

All I can say is that both pieces are in fabulous condition. This larger bowl shows no signs of use. I think we should all use our nice things. No reason not to. Buy this and actually use it to serve dishes in. You could use the smaller bowl to serve rice!

I really like how the flowers are a bit raised in parts where the yellow and purple bits of the flowers are as well as parts of the vines.

Also, around the base of this piece you'll see two thin blue lines, which add to the overall look and appeal.

This bowl features a great line that makes it easy to carry with two hands. It likely will not slip out of your grasp. There are delicate hearts at each longer side.

You can add it to your collection or use this bowl. It is just lovely either way.
