Darling small portrait in the form of a post card taken by J.C. Vestergaard out of Aurora, IL. This turn of the 20th century photo is a sweet snapshot of a young family dressed in their finest.
Photo does not identify individual subjects, however, it is written on as correspondence- though not posted. There’s a cheeky little greeting on the front and on the reverse it’s signed by the woman in the photo, Mrs. Marion James (Jones?) Jaws? 🦈
There are some surface scratches on the photo itself as shown, along with noted writing, fixing, discoloration and edge fold. In addition, some wear to card on edges and a few stains on the back.
Measures approximately 3.5 x 5.5” for the entire card, shot in portrait orientation. Will be shipped from a smoke free home. Thank you for looking!
