The image measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/4".
Someone cut open the back, three of the four sides so it opens easily.
The photo is just a single piece of glass, no tintype or ambrotype pieces behind it.
I believe it's an early paper print adhered to the glass.
The 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" frame is all original.
