Antique quilt top circa 1850 with earlier fabrics, English Paper Pieced by hand with all papers removed and top hemmed. Large size 70\" x 82\". Some fabrics have fallen out due to age and dye chemicals. Some dye migration from darker fabrics. Rare quilt, made in Mid Atlantic region of Untied States, most likely Maryland, or possibly made in England. Great showcase of some beautiful provincial reds and other early fabrics.
