Antique Rare Royal Doulton “Lulu” Tea Cup -E8017:

Rare Tea Cup- flannel flower pattern, porcelain (bone china), designed by Lucie (Lulu) Shorter, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, made by Royal Doulton, Burslem, Staffordshire, England c1912. There is the letter L next to the year of manufacture

Transfer printed and hand finished flannel flower pattern. Examples of this pattern are housed in the Power House Museum in NSW

This is a stunning cup hard to find particularly with the twisted cup handle

No chips, cracks, crazing or stains

There is a couple of tiny firing spots and very light mark inside cup base

The pattern is enhanced with a dark green rim in good condition

Nice ping when lightly tapped
