This piece is an Imperial Russian era ( circa 1900) Tula (place of manufacture) Urn or Humidor or Teapot, or, or, or (not sure which, you decide.). It is made of hammered brass with (possibly) copper legs. It has a very tightly fitting arched top piece/lid with a small peak handle knob and a small bracket fastened up inside the lid\'s arch, possibly for hanging tobacco bags or teabags. Don\'t know for sure. It has three \"legs\" that are strips of copper (I think) riveted to the body and rolled up at the bottom (see Photos). The inside looks like it had been used to heat liquid, possibly tea or incense. The rolled copper legs would have allowed it to be set on a stove to heat indirectly and slowly. The somewhat soft copper legs would also have allowed two of it\'s rolled legs to be adjusted to be able to mount the unit on a wall or a stand on some horizontally projected support rods/pins. Don\'t know for sure what it was actually used for. Condition us used, not cleaned much, except the bottom insignia to be able to read it. One of the pictures matches the insignia up with a copy of the Czarist Imperial Russian \"Lesser Coat of Arms\" and the text stamped around the insignia translated roughly (in Cyrillic)to FABRIKA.
