Antique sepia tone albumen photograph of Maharaja Suraj Mal\'s Deeg Palace in Deeg, Rajasthan, India taken by Samuel Bourne sometime in the 1860s.
Hallmarks: Printed in the photo, near bottom left corner, reads \"Bourne 1316.\"
Dimensions: Mat Height 19\" x Width 22 1/2\". Window Height 8 3/4\" x Width 11 1/4\". Paper Height 9\" x Width 11 3/4\".
Weight: 1 lb. 4 oz.
Condition: Good condition with light wear toedges of matting. A couple of foxing spots just above either side of the building. A tiny spot or smudge or soiling under the building at the waterline, only noticeable at an angle. Writing to reverse side of paper. Photo is taped to matting on all sides. I am not sure of age, as the Bourne & Shepard studio produced reprints up until 1991, when a fire destroyed the studio and the collection of original negatives.
