Vintage Antique Seth Thomas Clock Co. 8-day Lyre Weight Column Mantel / Wall Clock. Heavy clock. Weighs 33 lbs. Gilted on the top and bottom of columns. Cornice is attached and in great condition. Both doors open has they should. Solid case.Glass is in great condition. Reverse paintings show signs of minimal wear. Some minor veneer chipping but not much. Inside has a great looking label with minor imperfections. The pendulum looks to be original. The weights in this clock are huge and heavy. They do there job well. There is a Seth Thomas branded Lyre movement that is in working condition. Looks like it could use a cleaning though. The dial shows typical wear for a clock this age.
This is a pendulum clock, so it might need adjustments after shipping. The pendulum will be removed to avoid damage during shipping. Clock is in running/working condition. Clock is an antique and is USED. As with most antique clocks, the movement may have been previously repaired or replaced.
