Antique Silver Crest Sterling Decorated Bronze Vase with great chemical Patina in an Arts and Crafts, Roycroft, Stickley , Heintz Style.

The bottom is hallmarked with “SMA Co”, which stands for Smith Metal Arts Co. Additional hallmarks include “Silver Crest”, “Sterling Decorated Bronze”, and “2029”.

Smith Metal Arts Co. was founded by Frederick C. Smith, an employee of Otto Heintz, in Buffalo, New York, in 1919. This was after the death of Otto Heinz in 1918. Silver Crest was the trademark used by the company.

Height 9-1/8"

Mouth apprx 3-1/4" Diameter

Body 12"-13" in diameter - neck 10" in diameter and bottom 10" in diameter

Bottom apprx. 3-1/8" Diameter

Condition: Very good, well maintained, and clean with beautiful chemical patina (see pictures for details)

Please note that this vase looks as though it has a slight dent between the 2nd and third flower

Can't tell whether it was part of the aesthetics or not. It looks so natural.
