Up for sale is a 1936 Silvertone antique tube radio model 1955 in a large tombstone walnut cabinet with vertical wood grill bars and rounddial in brass escutcheon.This is an 8 tube AM/SW/Police radio with five rotary controls for on/off, volume, sensitivity, band and tuning.Radio was recapped, out of tolerance resistors replaced, new dial lights and external antenna installed.All tubes were tested and replaced as needed.AM reception is good.SW is more active late at night and may require an outdoor antennaCabinet was hand rubbed with Finish Restorer.There are some wood blemishes and scratches (see pictures)New vintage grill cloth was installed.All original wood knobs are present and operate properly.Dimensions are: 15\"Lx12\"Wx18\"H This radio is heavy.FREE shipping to lower 48 statesRadio will be securely packed and shipped insured via FedEx Home Delivery.Thank you and good luck!
