I recently acquired this piece at an Estate sale in the North East of an avid Fine Victorian Glass collector of many years.Up forsaleisan Antique Stevens & Williams Blue & White Opalescent Ruffed Vase with Applied Flowerfor your consideration. Much more stunning than I can capture in pics. This is a Quality Early blown glass vase in an ombre coloring of blue at top working down to the white opalescent vase. Has a stunning blue ruffled top with a clear edging. The hand applied art glass flower is in pink shades with green stems & leaves and GLOWS under blacklight. Colors are vibrant andis in MINT Excellent Original condition havingNOchipping, cracks, crazing, breaks, fleabites, scratches or repairs. There is a minute roughness to the feel at the leave tip, but this occurred during the making and wanted to mention for accuracy purposes. Has a smooth pontil on bottom as shown. Itmeasures 8"in height, 2 3/4" width and 2 3/8" across base.
