Please see item as to condition. This item is from the 1930’s, it’s old and with restoration, could be absolutely beautiful. This item show sign of repair and not well done. Just moving items out. I have owned this for a long time and I do not have the time needed to do the restoration. Great piece and a sad piece of American history. “Will Rogers and Wiley Post offer farewell to a small crowd gathered at Fairbanks, Alaska, on August 15, 1935. They would perish in an airplane crash later that day. Post modified a hybrid Lockheed Orion/Explorer specifically for the trip to Russia by adding pontoons for water landings. Then they started the engine, taxied across the river and took off in a steep, climbing turn. About fifty feet up, the engine seemed to stop cold, the plane faltered, dragged a wing in the water and crashed on its back.” This item will need care and attention.
