Has a stainless heat shield around it that I believe was added much later. Pictures from that era show this stove with and without the heat shield.
On the front of the cast iron it says Tiny tot mfg by Fatsco, Benton Harbor, Michigan. With a little girl on it. The ash door and vent works great. Add your wood or coal thru the top access halfmoon opening.
