Antique tin bread tray is painted black and features gold chain, birds, and branches with leaves set under a clear lacquer. Toleware is usually painted, but this piece is different. I believe the gold accents are die cut embossed paper. I have a feeling the age is circa mid to late 1800s to possibly early 1900s. I don\'t know the exact age or origin. It looks very French to me, but I did find it here in the United States. Condition is good+ to very good. There is a few small chips to the paint and a few links of gold chain is missing.
