For your consideration is this antique stereoview card titled "Chasing Mice". This particular stereoview is contained in the collection of the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site. Information pertaining to this collection is as follows:
From: CARL SANDBURG HOME NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE

"The stereoscope was the first photographic medium forentertainment to occupy the homes of Americans, before movies or television. Asa young drifter, Carl Sandburg began selling Underwood and Underwoodstereoscopic photographs and viewers as a door-to-door salesman in the summerof 1900. Images of recreation, travel, and foreign lands, such as the ones inthis collection, introduced rural Americans to a world outside their grasp. Thestereographs in this collection are in the Carl Sandburg Papers, which became theproperty of the National Park Service in 1968." Additionally located was a Fort Wayne newspaper advertisement where the stereoscopic view could be purchased dating to 1906 (photo attached).
