This one of kind Victorian art glass basketfeatures a beautiful green opalescent and thorn design, with intricate raised relief and a glossy finish.The rim is pulled and embellishedwith a colourless seashellpattern along the rim and the footed base also has applied colourless seashells. The applied colourless handle has a unique shape and textured pattern to make this basket more charming.
Pontil mark can be seen on the bottom of the basket. Does not glow under a black light.Not marked. Attributed to a fine Bohemian glasshouse such as Harrach. Circa. 1890\'s - 1900.
7-7/8\" tall. The rim is 4\" diameter. The base is 3\" diameter.
