A superb wide antique French embroidery net insertion lace in a creamy ecru color...
Dainty in texture and appearance, this wide insertion lace is useful for doll costuming, embellishing women's apparel, pillows, mini lamp shades, etc. It features an elegant, repetitive floral motif showcasing vines and greenery delicately outlined with dimensional silk cordonet along ultra sheer, ethereal silk net ground, and is finished off with a straight edge along two sides.
Measures overall ~36 inches long and ~1&7/8 inches wide. Multiple quantities ordered will be in 1 continuous length.
Appears unused. In overall very good-excellent condition with age yellowing, mild fraying along the unfinished edges, and a rare tiny break. Though none are noted, there may be a rare light spot. Please enlarge photos for details.
