Antique Vintage Lace-WIDE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ERA BOBBIN LACE FLOUNCE *THISTLES:

A striking and unusual wide Victorian Era bobbin lace flounce in a warm ecru with a hint of blush color...
Useful for embellishing apparel, bedspreads, drapery, etc. this fine, airy, and gauzy lace features an unusual, floral motif showcasing rudimentary scrolls & thistles and is finished off with a gentle curve & the slightest scalloped edge along one side. The lace holds its original plated brass metal tag along one end as shown in the last photo. The markings on the tag are undiscernible.
Measures overall ~7-7&1/2\" wide, ~36 inches (~1 yard) long, and is finished along 2 sides. Cut from the yardage bolt.
In overall very good condition considering age with yellowing, fraying along the unfinished edges, occasional scraggly threads, mild spoilage in isolated areas, occasional light spots, a few breaks which are not readily apparent in ruffled form and can be addressed, and a rare well appointed joint.
