This antique spoon features three men and appears to be from Africa, based on similar listings from , Etsy and other antiques sites. This came from an Estate Sale so I do not know its history. I cannot verify the metal used but there is some pitting and brassing. It measures 7 3/4" long, the figures' heads and shoulders are 1/2" wide, the spoon is 2" wide and is 3.6oz or 102 grams. The bottom or bowl of the spoon is not perfectly round, each figure is slightly different from the next, and the back of the spoon looks like it has been slightly hammered smooth, all ofwhich leads to the impression that this is indeed handmade. There is no maker's mark.
