Basket rim is 12" diameter and bottom is close to square 10 1/2".Height of rim is 8 1/2" and overall height is 15 1/2". The fancy, dyed purple curl design is on all sides of basket. There are multiple weave techniques and materials. Open weave at bottom of basket. The rim has some cracking on splints--see photos. Previous owner has used hot glue on handle where it is integrated into body--unknown issue.
