This exquisite antique bronze ashtray / trinket dish features The piece is estimated to be from the 18 and is an original Art Nouveau style item.
Vintage brass ashtray commemorating the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1885 , when Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated. The date of manufacture of this item is unclear, it is believed to be pre WW1- 1890-1910, likely 1850s. Heavy sand cast ashtray made of high- quality bronze with images of Napoleon with an eagle and “Waterloo” with intricate details. Measures about 5.25” by 4.75”. Perfect for cigars. This tem was made in France for the British and German markets. A very nice detailed piece. Perfect for collectors of metalware and other unique collectibles. Has patina.
