Thank you for visiting Hooked at Weiss on ! Listed here: Antique Atlas E-Z Seal Pint Aqua Glass with Rubber Gasket, Old Style Neck, and Full Wire Bail Circa 1920s - Beautiful aqua blue Atlas E-Z Seal canning jar in very good condition
- The antique glass boasts several air bubbles common in glass making of the period with barely visible mold seal extending to top of neck
- Great for antique collectors, rustic & beach decorators, and more <3
- The glass jar is in very good condition with no cracks detected though there are two small chips along the lip and slight rust transfer staining on the glass insert (Note: I did not remove the fragile rubber gasket to inspect the entire jar lip for fear of breaking the rubber.) Please see last picture above with red arrows indicating chips; the red circle indicates air bubbles in the seam near the neck rim.
- The metal wire bail canning lock has rust and some pitting but is still functional
- The rubber gasket has suffered the most age-related distress with several cracks and edge chipping; the seal is stuck to the jar base, and I did not try to pry it loose
- Jar is approximately 5\" tall x 4\" diameter base
- Weight: 1 lb 0.5 oz
