Attention Historians and Collectors!!!
You are offerding on an authentic, original World War One German sign/bulletin that was directed to the population of occupied Belgium during WWI. The sign is in three languages: German, Dutch and French. A penciled date at top left corner dates it to 3.6.16. It is from the German Military Commander. It has to do with "New Postal Regulations for the Army's Staging Area."It is large, measuring approximately 24" by 44". It is made of paper and shows some tearing/chipping, with some loss to top right corner but no words affected. It is made of paper and is considered very delicate and few of these have survived. It is over 100 years old!!!
These paper bulletins would have been prominently placed on walls, poles, etc. in heavily trafficked areas where many people would have read them to get important headlines of events/regulations that would affect their everyday lives.It will be shipped rolled in a mailing tube, as it has been stored.A great item waiting to be framed and proudly displayed in your man-cave!!!
