1st print of Action Comics #1000, with white cover. Book was never opened or read, so spine isn’t creased or loose. No fingerprints, stains, fading, smudges, or smears. Very well protected book.
For the better part of six years I’ve had this book autographed by A-list film and television celebrities that have been in the Superman pantheon for the last 40+ years. There are 16 autographs total, 10 on the back cover, and 5 on the front. There’s also a bonus signature on the inside cover, which was a recent acquisition . Also included is custom cover artwork of the man of steel, from a reputable artist (Lorenzo Lizana) who signed as well. Only ‘Supermen’ and the artist were allowed to sign the front. 14 of the 16 signatures are authenticated (authentication letter included with purchase) less the artist and recent bonus signature, Sarah Douglas, who played ‘Ursa’ in the original 1978 ’Superman’ film and the sequel, ‘Superman II’.
Book comes with custom display board that easily attaches/detaches comic magnetically for easy access.
One of a kind book that’s really a crown jewel for a collection, comic shop, or pop culture enthusiast.
