This guitar pick has been carved from Petrified Palmwood. These are not your typical mass produced stone guitar pick and the material comes from Texas. Petrified wood is sometimes called "agatized wood" because the wood cells are replaced with agate. Petrified wood has all of the physical properties of an agate. Sometimes petrified wood is called "silicified wood" and this is a synonym for agate and agatized wood. I mention this because I don't want it to appear that the description conflicts with the type of material that the pick is made from.

This is an all-natural color! Shown with enlarged pictures to show the fantastic color and detail of this all natural stone! These all have a great polish and high shine and a great "wet look" yet slightly textured for a sure grip and good feel.

Thisis a regular standard sized guitar pick that is approx. 2.0 mm thick and is 11/4" tall x 1 " wide ( 31 x 25 x 2.0 mm). Tip is tapered to 1mm.

This pick is relatively thin and the thinnest that I sell. With stone if you cut them any thinner they would break at the polishing stage as pressure has to be applied when the pick is pressed very firmly against a polishing wheel. These vary from 2.0 to 2.5 mm at its thickest part in the center of the pick. I doubt anyone would want these any thinner because gripping them might be a problem if they were thinner.
