This is an outstanding example of a broad axe, that has been taken very good care of. Please look at the detailed photos carefully, as they will tell a better story than I can about this piece. The handle is “as new” It measures 9 1/4”from poll to bit, 11 1/2” On the width of the cutting edge of the bit and has a 24” handle it. The weight of the Axe, including the handle is approximately 7 lbs. The Axe itself, has a left hand bevel to it. The Handle has a slight left hand curve to it and is obviously fitted very well.
