Beautiful German antique bracket or mantel clock by Winterhalder & Hofmeier:

This beautiful clock was made by arguably one of the best German clock makers of the late 19th early 20th century.
The clock is approximately 38 cm tall, 21 cm wide and 16 cm deep andis constructed of solid oak (not veneered) with a brass dial and silvered chapter ring engraved with Roman numerals and a bevelled glass door. It also has a galleried top which may have been replaced at some time in the past. Both front and back doors close perfectly as they should.
The case has been refinished to a high standard and the mechanism has been dissembled cleaned and lubricated. The clock keeps excellent time and strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.A superb example of the clockmaker\'s art for a very reasonable price
The clock comes with a key although sadly not the original.
