This Beautiful rare 19th Cent Portuguese cut silk velvet valance has a black silk velvet valance had a black silk velvet background with “cut work” in a pale yellow fabric with metallic thread overlay, there are two identical pieces sewn together like neoclassic scrolls. There is metallic trim and fringe with a linen backing. See photos for reference.
