Bradley & Hubbard ~ 2 DOVES w/ BOW & ARROWS ~ Bronze/Brass Letter Holder SCARCE:

A scarce and lovely Bradley and Hubbard bronze / brass letter holder featuring two pairs of doves. The doves upper center are perched on a quiver with arrows and a bow and the doves below are carrying letters. Below those are a quill pen and something I cannot make out. All this is against a stippled background with lots of scrolls and roses. The holder sits atop brass bun feet, and it is signed on the back B&H 1948, which is probably the style number.
The holder measures 7\" tall and 6 1/2\" wide. It weighs 2 lbs.It is in excellent condition with scattered dark patina. No breaks or issues to report.
