“Huckleberry”

Introducing my next sales piece as a very richly shaded liver chestnut Appaloosa that could almost be a heavy shaded sunburnt black. She features extensive mottling across her body in areas Appaloosa horses tend to get these spots. Lovely pinking and two different vibrantly colored eyes as well as detailed striped hooves that Appaloosa horses tend to have. Feet are painted black on the bottom and she has glossed features such as hooves, eyes, and nostrils. Sealed in very flat matte for realism.

She is a classic scale and is a drastic resculpt from breyers warmblood mold. Her neck is sculpted into a grazing position as well as a sculpted mane and tail. She had a front left leg resculpted as it was broken. The “breathing hole” is in her nostril and a small one on her underside. This body was extensively smoothed and sanded to be smooth compared to its original vintage lumpy state. If you’d like pictures of her process feel free to message me!

She has a few minor imperfections, I included the pictures at the end of the flaws. I do my absolute best to try to provide flaws free work but it doesn’t always happen as it’s all hand painted in my apartment.
