Original and authentic antique 42-star flag from 1889-90 duringpresidential term of Benjamin Harrison. Cotton printed flag.The 42 star became obsolete on July 4th 1890when five states were added to the Union.Parade Flags like thiswere shipped to Hardware and General Stores which would attach to wooden sticksand sell to the general public for ceremonies.
