Made to the exact standards as used between 1923 and 1928 by the Rocky Mountain Motorists Association, which was an automobile club that took it upon itself to sign the highways of Colorado as a motorist aid. These warning signs were seen with or without graphical elements - this one features a cow to indicate the kind of stock likely to be encountered. An original of these, complete with the logo of the Rocky Mountain Motorists Inc., would be many thousands of dollars, if it even survives. This sign is a faithful remake to the correct size (18 inches on a side, or about 23 1/4 inches up and down between the rounded top and bottom), and weighs about 8 pounds, 2 ounces. please note that I can make an RMMI sign with any verbiage, destination set, route numbers, etc. inquire about custom orders!
