When I purchased this old folding trade card, the photo was not very large and each piece was so close together, so I thought both sides were actually connected. They were NOT! So this is now considered an \"as found\" trade card. The original colors are still nice and not faded. \"BLUE SEAL 1876 VASELINE.* GOLD MEDAL AT PARIS EXPOSITION 1889 CHESEBROUGH MANF\'G CO * NO. 110 FRONT ST., NEW YORK etc ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (on the inside:) \"VASELINE * CALENDAR 1891 etc ~ ~ ~ ~ \" The extra printing is so tiny, but still easy to read, and except for the center rip, this old card is outstanding. What a shame it had to be in two pieces! \"VASELINE\" has sure been around a long time! Size closed approx. 1 7/8\" x 3 1/4\" Each side will be in a protective fitted sleeve before being SUPER packed in two pieces of new heavy mat board. Then shrink wrapped to protect from moister and finally into a mailer. We SUPER pack everything we sale for extra protection while in the Postal System! GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC & OLD!
