A rare Eleanore Welborn ashtray depicting the Adventureland Entryway. The four-toned vignette is centered within a glazed ceramic ashtray and was made exclusively for Disneyland by local Monterey artists at Eleanore Welborn Art Productions. Welborn was one of the first suppliers that Walt Disney chose to make souvenirs for the park when it opened in 1955. Welborn specialized in ceramics that were custom made at her studio in Monterey, California. Her work for Disneyland is highly sought after by collectors. This 3.75" x4"x1" ashtray is in very good condition with some crazing from age. This style of ashtray is extremely rare. All reasonable offers will be considered.
