8 X 10 Black and white photograph, unattributed. As an early 1950s USAF enlisted man involved in air traffic control I was lucky to be able to catch rides in many different WWII aircraft that were still in service....this is the one that got away!

All photographs are continuous-tone photographs unless described otherwise. Printed photos - photos printed with a dot matrix as in magazines and newspapers - are clearly described as such. Most of my manufacturer photos (Boeing, Curtiss, Martin, etc.) came from an author, USMC Col. RobertRankin, who wrote in-house articles and other aviation related pieces for aircaftmanufacturersin the 1940\'s and 1950\'s. He amassed an enormous collection of original vintage photos which I purchased in the early 1970\'s.
