This was carved in 1994 and purchased from The Quintana Gallery in 06/95 for $2200 (see attached tag on bottom)

Darrell LeBlanc was a member of the Haida Nation. He had over 30years experience of carving. His sophisticated style can be seen in his wood and argillite carvings. As a member of the Haida Nation, his interest in art began at a young age. Darrell was mostly noted for his traditional yellow cedar rattles, totem poles and talking sticks. He has also produced a series of limited edition prints and today his pieces are highly sought after. Darrel passed away in 2014.
