You are offerding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1880s French illustrated journal. The page has two separate pictures. These could be framed as one, or cut in two and framed side by side.

It depicts a beautiful pug dog who sees his reflection in the mirror in a lady\'s dressing room. The second picture shows him retreating, after having attacked the \"other\" pug and broken the mirror.

The caption on the first print reads: mechants desseins
which roughly translates to: wicked designs

The caption on thesecond print reads: en deroute
which roughly translates to: a rout

It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). Each picture measures about 8.5 x 5 inches, with a Frenchcaption below.
