Measuring approximately 6 by 7 inches and drawn in pencil on tracing vellum (and taped by the artist onto copy paper), this prelim features the work of acclaimed Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. It is the final pencil for his gag cartoon for Playboy March 1999. In good condition, it will be shipped with the utmost care (please see scan- as a prelim, it has wear as is to be expected and the faces of both the man and woman are hand-drawn stats taped to the art). Please note- this is an actual, original piece of art drawn by hand by Sneyd. It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original. Also, shown for reference, is the competed cartoon as it ultimately appeared in the magazine. Please note, however, that it is shown for reference only. About Doug Sneyd:

Doug Sneyd began his career incommercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for theToronto Star, Canada\'s largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboyand hisgag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
