Angel Aura quartz is created in a vacuum chamber from Quartz crystals and Silver and Platinum vapor by vapor deposition. The quartz is heated to 871 °C (1600 °F) in a vacuum, and then Silver and Platinum vapor is added to the chamber. The atoms fuse to the crystal\'s surface, which gives the crystal an iridescent sheen.

Acactus or spirit quartz is a quartz crystal that is encrusted by a second generation of smaller crystals grown on its prism faces.These crystals were first discovered in 1986 in the Magaliesberg Mountain Range near Pretoria, South Africa. Cactus quartz is formedby a quartz or amethyst crystal being encrusted by a second generation of smaller crystals grown on its faces. It occurs as quartz, citrine and amethyst, and comes in a wide range of colors, including purple amethyst, violet amethyst, smoky, milky clear and golden citrine.
