This is a one of a kind piece, measuring 36\" long and 5\" wide comes a fence post with a single round ball lodged inside. This piece was said to have come off the Mumma farm at the Battle of Antietam. If you look at the last 2 pictures of historic photos of that farm you can clearly see round fence post pickets and this could very well be on of those pickets. Several people have looked at this piece and we all agree it\'s indeed a fence post or fence picket.
