Marilyn Monroe absolutely rare black and white (2) x Photographs. To my best knowledge, these are now possibly in the public domain-more on that in a sec. These two shots mounted in sturdy plastic with runner guides are from a private party honoring Lana Turner. These photos come with hand written certificate of authenticity by famous Hairdresser Eric Root who made 2 claims a) This was supposedly Marilyns first day as a blonde b) the Lana Turner event in which Marilyn / Norma Jean was invited took place on the Estate of Peter Lawford in Malibu, California
Further back story / provenance was that Milton Green, Photographer (w/Johnny Hyde:Agent) Picture in LIFE Special was with Marilyn around his pool May 1950 and Hyde convinced her to dye her hair platinumMarilyn ( 1926 June to 1962 August ) : Sometime by December 1950 she then dyed her hair as suggested and was later signed to 20th Century Fox on 4/11/1951, which leads to a possible 1947 to 1950 hair color change which of course-- the rest is history.
On 12/31/1948 MM had met Hyde at a New Years Party at Sam Spiegels\'. Of note is Asphalt Jungle 1950 and All about Eve 1950 for Hollywood. A further TV movie from 1980 THIS YEARS BLONDE\" mentioned Hyde to my knowledge and Johnny Hyde was 23 April 1895 to 18 December 1950 if this has any connection at all to the overall story and provenance.
