Elegant Vintage 1880\'s Whig Rose Applique Antique Quilt ~AMAZING CONDITION!This CRISP, STURDY cotton 1880\'s whig rose quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with vibrant reds and greens. It measures 72\" X 84 and is in excellent, never washed condition, with age speckling in places (most visible on the back) and no wear. There are straight line and diamond designs quilted throughout at an even 9-10 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back is white, the hand stitched edge is rolled over from the front, and the batting is thin. The WONDERFUL, DETAILED APPLIQUE and REMARKABLE CONDITION make this 19th century CLASSIC stand out!
