Excellent RARE \"Divine\" Tiny Powder Compact, Art Deco Enamel \"Glove\" Compact,Hand Painted Powder Compact Antique Silhouette.This small compact isknown as a “glove” compact; tiny enough to discreetly slip into your glove onan evening out. It is just a little over 1 inch square.
The top cover of the compact is all hand paintedin enamel. The design features a \"devinely\" ivory colored profile portrait of alady. She is surrounded by beautiful periwinkle blue enamel background.Surrounding the round background are tiny polka dots and swirls. It truly is a delightful design.
The bottom cover of the compact is brushed goldtone.
The inside of the compact contains a beveled glassmirror. The mirror is clear.
The inside also contains and pressed powdercompartment. The powder is a pale ivory color.
The original \"Divine\" puff is in place.It is very clean and in great condition.
The case opens and closes properly. It is free ofdents and very minimal visible wear for its age. There is two bubbles in the enamel that occurred during production. Any issues can be seen in the photos.
The compact is signed “Divine” on one end.
