FRENCH MODEL AN XI LIGHT CAVALRY TROOPER'S HUSSAR'S SWORD - NAPOLEON CAMPAIGNS- GRANDE ARMEE Thesword's slightly curved 34 1/2" blade has 3 inspectors poincons andthe spine is markedMftureImpaledu Klingenthal 10 lre 1813.Overall length of the sword in scabbard is 42". The scabbard is in very good condition with no holes or serious dents. The steel drag is marked with an illegible inspectors poincon. The uncleaned brass hilt is stamped with 3 inspectors marks and has a nice age patina. The leather wrapped wood handle is in very good condition. The blade retains its original scarlet tie, and there is no movement between blade and hilt.One of the nicest AN XI swords I've had in years.Please see photos for further description and condition.International buyers please contact me for shipping costs.
