FULL SIZE NEZ PERCE CRADLEBOARD - EX. GLENBOW MUSEUM Circa 1890 - Wide x 37\" Length x 8\" Depth

Very soft native tanned hide covering over a wooden backboard. Cloth liner in hood, canvass, glass seed beads, trade glass, brass bells. All seams intact. Cotton sewn. The upper portion is fully beaded with an elk pictorial surrounded by a foliate motif on a white ground. This cradleboard has obviously been well cared for within the Museum\'s collection.

Condition is excellent! Nice overall patination to the bead work. Minor soling to hide. Virtually no bead loss to note. Carry strap on back is broken at both ends. Doll face is missing?
